OVERVIEW OF HOME FRONT ALLIANCE'S WEBSITE SECURITY POLICY
CollegeRecon (CollegeRecon) Web Site is comprised of various Web pages controlled by Home Front Alliance, LLC (HFA). The underlying software is operated and owned by HFA. HFA is hosting the CollegeRecon website within modern technology infrastructure located in a secured hosting facility in the United States.
DATACENTER SECURITY
The CollegeRecon application and data is protected by a highly secured facility with extensive network and security monitoring systems. These systems provide security measures to protect against distributed denial of service (DDOS) attacks through the use of firewalls and enterprise network design along with protection against brute force attacks and other attacks through the implementation of security concepts such as least privilege, default deny, separation of duties, and encryption.
WEB APPLICATION SECURITY
The CollegeRecon application was designed to protect your data by only storing the information necessary to connect Veterans with Colleges and for HFA analysts to determine how to improve the CollegeRecon website. We utilize industry grade strong encryption (TLS 1.2) to transmit your data to and from your web browser, require multi-factor authentication for our system administrators, and regularly monitor and patch our systems.
